It's Official! She Has Gone and Lost Her Brains!!!

Megan Kate turned 13 years old today. As you can see she has lost her mind. Instead of trying to look nice for her Birthday party she decided to dress up as a pirate and wear a moustache...!!!!???? Megan was showered with gifts and love of her frreinds and family. We had almost 20 girls come to her birthday party. I think it was all too much for grandma, so she and Shane took off for a more relaxed evening. Ash stopped in. Becka and Jake came with the little ones and dad poked his head in when he could. He had to work. Megan was excited to get a birthday note from grandpa in Kuwait, and a sweet phone call from Grandma in Vegas. We love our 13 year old! I hope you find your brains soon.

This is a new favorite!!!

A good friend of mine gave us a set of these DVD's as a gift. They are called Liken the Scriptures. Shane and Heather's favorite is David and Goliath. They watch it over and over. The music is fun and very catchy. There is 8 in the set from the Bible to the Book of Mormon.

What difference one week makes!

Wow! Just when we thought we were all getting back to normal with all the hoidays past, we get hit with illness and turmoil. Jim had been complaining about a tooth that was giving him problems. Within one week he experienced the most excruciating pain her ever felt which turned into illness and nausea. Friday the endodontist gave him a root canal, which miraculoulsy cured his aching tooth. In the meantime, the city water became contaminated and I think some of us got sick from it. We are better now!
