This was Cezar's handler, Gabe Allen. He unselfishly stayed by the side of Cezar, exposed to the 2 bullets that were being shot.

This was the car that Cezar road in.

Cezar was shot and killed on September 11th by a selfish criminal.

Happy Birthday Heather!

Heather turned 7 today, this being Friday the 13th. The weather was yuk... stormy, heavy rain, heavy hail, freezing temps... everyone has colds. Even after all of that Heather's party was lot's of fun. All of Heather's friends came over to celebrate. They played a couple of games, made mini pizzas, and had cup cakes with sparkler candles. And check out my cupcakes....yes I made them all by myself. Hahaha... We love you Heather!

Happy Easter...Look what's new in our family!

On Monday of this past week Megan and Heather inheireted two baby bunnies from Jim's brother, Mike. The bunnies have been quite interesting. All they do is eat and poop. The black ones name is Fudgy and the brown ones name is Angel. And they both are angels. We have been told that we can box train them. I've been trying to find out how to manage that one.... time will tell. Anyway, welcome to the newest members of our family. YIPEE!

What Have I Gotten Myself Into!

Okay so I got a new calling last Sunday. No more Young Womens. I think that the title is Cub Scout Leader!!!??? I was given all the details this morning and it took almost 2 hours to get through. This is definatly not like Personal Progress. Holy cow my head has been spinning. I did go to the Scout store and did a little shopping. So that made me feel better. Ha! Shane is happy that I will be his leader. Last night we had the Blue and Gold Banquet and I was watching all the 8 and 9 year boys that I will be working with..... well let just say I will need a super size soda on hand. All joking aside I am very excited to be apart of Shane's program and I look forward to learning all I can about scouting. So say a prayer for me and the program!

Pepper Is Home!

Our prayers have been answered. Pepper was found by a lovley family 3 streets over and they were kind enough to bring her back this afternoon. We missed her soooo much. We are gald that she back with us. Now I feel like our family is whole again. I know I'm a dork.

Now on to a sad note......

Pepper is missing. We spent all evening looking for her. I'm afraid she is long gone. Pray for her that she might return to us. We love her so much. She is apart of our family. We miss her.

What Fun We Had!

Last Fall my friend, Cynthia, and I attended a 12 week Citizens Police Academy from Missouri Southern State University. The class taught by Jimmy and various other police officers. Here we are graduating. We had so much fun going through all the training and learning about what police and law enforcement do, go through and endure. We got to shoot full automatic rifles, solve murders, fake ones of course, search an abandoned house, I got to drive a police car and play with the lights a sirens, some were allowed to get drunk and be tested on the breathalyzer... what a crack up, and surprisingly quite a few volunteered to be tazed. NUTS!!! We had soooo much fun and Jimmy and his friends did such a great job and of informing us about what they do!

Happy 9th Birthday Shane!

We celebrated Shane's 9th birthday today. It wasn't as exciting as we had hoped. Shane has been very sick with the flu. He has had fevers and has been sleeping most of the time. He has missed a couple days of school.... but neverless his sisters showered him with gifts and tried to make him feel better. Early this morning he crawled in my bed and asked me if I was proud of him because he turned 9 years old today. Happy Birthday Shane!

Happy Valentine's Day ... a little late

Still no computer. Just waiting and trying to be patient. I hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day. The kids enjoyed all of their sweets and goodies from both Grandparents. By the time they come home from school on a party day they had so much junk...it was like Halloween all over again. We have been enjoying such beautiful weather. Very cold but beautiful no doubt. Every morning we wake up to falling snow. It's so much fun. We are veady for spring weather. Everyone we know has been very sick. Well hopefully the next time I write I will be able to put a picture on. Love you all, Tara

Unfortunatly our computer has finally died. So we are in limbo waiting for our tax return so we can buy a new one. So many things have been happening. I will post them as soon as I can. HAppy B-day Kelly. We love you and miss you!

Cel-A-Bration- Time Come on!

Megan had lots of help celebrating her 12th Birthday. She had 15 of her friends over and lot's of family close by. They played Sing Star almost the whole evening. We wish all of you could be here with us.

Megan is Finally 12!!!

Megan has been counting the days until she can finally join the ranks of Young Women and "get out" of Primary. Today is that glorious day! She is so excited.... although you would never know it in this photo. Congradulations Geegan! We love you!

Ah Yes the Blessed Fish

This is the fish that Jimmy is so very proud of. He caught it when he went fishing last May / June 2006 in Canada. He would die if he knew that I couldn't remember what kind of fish it is. All I know is that it took almost 6 months to get mounted and over $200 to have it done. But after all is said and done it turned out quite nice. We are proud......some more than other's.

Shane Is Now A Wolf!

With all of his hard work he finally earned his Wolf patch. We are so proud of him. Also Shane participated in his first Pinewood Derby. He and his dad had a good time making his car....appropriatly themed fromt he cars movie. He came in 3rd place! Dad was especially proud. Keep up the good work Shane!
